"Today, I had the opportunity to witness a beautiful event throughout the appreciation day. I would like to mention that I have joined every similar celebration for the last five years but this year was unconventional. Usually, one of the parents gives a short speech thanking the teacher, and within ten minutes we are all out. This time all parents including myself were so impressed that all of us had to say few words, and not just simple words but thoughts coming from the bottom of our hearts. That is the first time happening in the last five years in my daughter's class at --- School. We may say that we, the adults, are polite and sometimes out of courtesy we may be fake. However, when we could hear from the children "we love you," "you rock," or "this is my best year in --" we know that is sincere and true. It was emotional to see tears on the teacher's face and ours at the same time. We know that we should witness such emotion more often. Thank you again. You are a true teacher. You have a beautiful gift not only for teaching but for holding the children's friendship. That is something we can learn from, at any age."
